SagaWealth is an insurance advisory service operated as a licensed PoSP (Reg. No. DP-1080311) under Turtlemint Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. We are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA 2023) for personal data collected through sagawealth.in.

2. What Data We Collect

Data You Provide Directly

• Name, mobile number, email address
• Insurance enquiry details: type of insurance required, age, family composition, budget
• WhatsApp messages if you initiate contact via WhatsApp
• Any additional details shared during advisory conversations

Data Collected Automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, browser type, device type
• Technical data: IP address, approximate location (city-level)
• Session cookies for basic site functionality

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect Aadhaar numbers, PAN, financial account details or medical records through this website. Such data is handled directly by the insurer during the policy application process.

3. Purpose of Processing

• Providing insurance advisory services and recommending suitable plans
• Responding to enquiries and following up on consultations
• Facilitating policy applications and renewals through Turtlemint Pro
• Complying with IRDAI regulations and applicable Indian law

4. Data Sharing

• Turtlemint Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. — for policy application and issuance
• Insurers — when you proceed to purchase a policy
• Formspree — form processing (data processor acting on our instructions)
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security (data processed in accordance with Cloudflare's DPA)

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for the following periods:

• Enquiry and consultation records: 3 years from last interaction, or as required by IRDAI recordkeeping regulations (whichever is longer)
• Policy-related records: 5 years from policy expiry or claim settlement
• Website usage data / cookies: Session cookies expire when you close your browser; analytics data retained for up to 12 months

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Your Rights Under DPDPA 2023

• Right to access personal data we hold about you
• Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure, subject to legal retention obligations
• Right to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect lawfulness of prior processing)
• Right to grievance redressal within 30 days of complaint
• Right to nominate another person to exercise rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity

To exercise any of these rights, contact info@sagawealth.in. We will respond within 30 days. If your concern is not resolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India (once constituted).

7. Security

We implement HTTPS encryption (via Cloudflare), access controls, and secure form processing. No transmission over the internet is completely secure — you provide data at your own risk.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
